Jueces 14:6
Parece imposible creer que un hombre despedazó a un león sin tener nada en sus manos, ¿Verdad?
Cualquier persona, por lo general, necesita aferrarse a algo para sentir plena seguridad, confianza o valentía.
¡Demás está decir que saldríamos corriendo si no tenemos un arma cerca para defendernos!
Pero, este relato nos muestra cuál era el secreto de tremendo poder en la vida de Sansón: “El Espíritu de Jehová vino sobre él”.
Amigo, si Dios está en tu vida, aunque no tengas nada en tus manos que te permita salir adelante; el león rugiente tendrá que huir.

But this story shows us what the secret was to the tremendous power in the life of Samson: The Spirit of the Lord came upon him.
Friend, if God is in your life, even though you don’t have anything in your hands that allows you to move forward; the roaring lion will have to flee.

En nuestra sabiduría humana, jamás encogeríamos lo más débil de esta tierra para llevar a cabo algún proyecto o misión.
Seguramente usted piensa igual que yo, pero el pensamiento del Dios Eterno quiebra toda lógica humana.
Él eligió a una pareja estéril (Abraham y Sara) para bendecir a las familias de la tierra. Escogió un tartamudo (Moisés) para enfrentar un Imperio, como el egipcio. Tomó a un boyero (Amós) para llevar el mensaje a Israel.
De la misma manera, apartó a unos pescadores sin letras y del vulgo para constituirlos apóstoles de La Iglesia.
¡Que maravillosa gracia, sí, sublime gracia, porque tanto a Ud. como a mí nos eligió!
¿Puede creer esta preciosa verdad? Si usted aún no está convencido, permítame decirle que hoy es el día de reconocer que Dios elige lo débil para avergonzar a los fuertes de este siglo.

In our human wisdom, we would never choose the most weak of this earth to carry out any project or mission.
Surely you think as I do, but the thoughts of the Eternal God break all human logic.
He chose a steril couple (Abraham and Sarah) to bless all the families of the earth. He chose a someone who stuttered (Moses) to confront an empire, like the egyptian. He took an oxdriver (Amos) to carry the message to Israel.
In the same way, he set apart a few fishermen who were illiterate and vulgar, to make them apostles of the Church.
What wonderful grace, yes, amazing grace, because both you and me He has chosen!
Can you believe this precious truth? If you still are not convinced, allow me to tell you that today is the day to recognize that God chooses the weak to shame the strong of this day.

“… porque Yo estoy contigo…”
HECHOS 18:10
Esta es una promesa inalterable dada por Dios para sus hijos, de todos los tiempos y de cualquier lugar.
Trate de volver en el tiempo y traiga a su memoria el momento en que Dios le da a Jacob este mismo juramento, porque tenía temor de volver a su casa a causa de su hermano. Recuerde lo que el Señor le dijo a Moisés cuando tenía que tomar la decisión de ir a Egipto para libertar a su pueblo.
Y también, cuando Jeremías tenía temor de su llamado por llevar la palabra de Dios. En todos estos casos, Dios les alienta con estas palabras.
Amados amigos, para nosotros es la misma promesa, que se encuentra en el libro de Mateo: “YO ESTOY CON VOSOTROS”
Por eso, si has dudado y sientes que Jesucristo no está a tu lado, solamente vuelve a creer…

And also, when Jeremiah was afraid of his calling to carry the Word of God. In all of these cases, God encourages them with these words.

Salmo 23:1
Cuantas veces leímos y escuchamos acerca de este salmo y hay algo muy importante para destacar; que siempre mantiene la frescura del Dios que lo inspiró…
Si logramos pensar por un momento y ver el tiempo verbal, existe una relación muy significativa entre el pastor que da y la oveja que recibe.
Nunca la oveja es la generadora de sus necesidades.

How many times have we read and heard about this psalm? And there is something very important to highlight; that it always maintains the freshness of the God who inspired it. . .
If we are able to think for a moment and see the verbal tense, a very significant relationship exists between the shepherd who gives and the sheep who receives.
The sheep is never the generator of its needs.
Friend, there is something elemental that you must attend to and it is to all that He pastor you and you rest in this precious promise that He will guide us throughout our lives. . .

Amigo, qué tremenda declaración dicha por Jesús sobre los hechos de hombres y mujeres que, ciertamente, creen que sus obras son agradables delante de un Dios Santo.
Imagínese esta escena: Un hombre que ha trabajado por muchas horas durante el día, después de esto, recibe un mensaje semejante a este: ¡Apártate de mi, hacedor de maldad! ¡Qué impacto en el corazón de dicho personaje! No hay duda, que toda obra o trabajo, sin una relación dulce con Cristo es una obra mala.
Reflexione tan solo un minuto en esto: Si hoy estamos tan ocupados que no nos queda tiempo para estar con Dios, indudablemente, estamos más ocupados de lo que Él quiere.

Friend, what a tremendous declaration made by Jesus about the acts of men and women who, surely, believe that their works are pleasing before a Holy God.
Imagine this scene: A man who has worked for many hours during the day, after this, receives a message similar to this: Depart from me, ye that work iniquity! What an impact in the heart of this person! There is no doubt,that all work or labor, without a sweet relationship with Christ is iniquity. Reflect only for a minute in this: If today we are so occupied that we don’t have time to be with God, undoubtedly, we are more occupied that what He wants.

Cuán a menudo somos asombrados por La Palabra de Dios cuando encontramos en ella sucesos que vivieron personas cuyas experiencias son muy parecidas a las nuestras, ¿verdad?
Seguramente nuestros oídos han escuchado a muchos maldecir el día de su nacimiento, el día de trabajo o el año que atraviesan…
Quizás, alguien muy cercano o bien, nosotros mismos estamos declarando en este momento: ¿Para qué nací?… Toda mi vida ha sido un caos…
Amigo mío, permítame expresarle algo; existe un nuevo nacimiento para el que recibe a Cristo en su corazón… Si por algún motivo abrió su boca como Job, para maldecir su vida, hoy ábrala para poder recibir a Jesús, porque estoy plenamente convencido que un tiempo nuevo llegará para su vida…

La pregunta que inquieta y que ha corrido por la mente de hombres y mujeres de todos los tiempos es: ¿Después de la muerte qué? ¿Viviremos, desaparecemos, seremos trasladados o que es lo que sucederá ciertamente? En realidad, lo desconocido nos ha asustado un poco…
Sin embargo, el hombre vive muerto en sus pecados o mejor dicho, independiente de Dios desde su creación.
Amigos; si deseamos tener la respuesta a este interrogante, necesitamos aceptar que Cristo vino al mundo para ofrecernos la vida de Dios.
Esto nos da a entender que nos espera una vida después de la muerte.
Lo que más importa es tomar una decisión hoy.

The question that troubles and has run through the mind of men and women all the time is: After death, what? Will we live, will we disappear, will we be transported or what exactly will happen? In reality, the unknown scares us a little. . . However, man lives dead in his sin or better said, independent from God since creation.

This makes us understand that a life awaits us after death.

“Anulando el acta de los decretos que había contra nosotros…”
Colosenses 2:14
En la antigüedad, todo se escribía sobre un papel papiro con una tinta que, tenía la particularidad de que fácilmente se borraba con sólo un poco de agua. En ocasiones, las deudas contraídas tiempo atrás se registraban en estos documentos y cada tanto, se cancelaban algunas de ellas, tachando así el compromiso. ¿Usted ha tachado alguna vez un dibujo o algún apunte? ¿Notó que por debajo, siempre queda lo escrito? Pensemos por un instante, que Pablo dijo: “Cristo anuló”. Eso significa borró; y no tachó.
Amados: Cuando venimos a JESÚS, Él borra todos nuestros pecados. Su sangre tiene hoy, el mismo poder que ayer y siempre. Tan sólo, debemos acudir a Él.

Blotting out the handwriting of the ordinances that was against us. . .
Colossians 2:14
In ancient times, everything was written on papyrus paper with an ink that had the peculiarity of being easily erased with only a little bit of water. On occasions, the debts that began a time ago were registered in these documents and once in a while, some of them were cancelled, marking out this way the responsibility. Have you ever marked something out in a drawing or note? Did you see that below what was written still remains? Let’s think for a moment that Paul said: Christ blotted out.
That means erased, not marked out.
Beloved: When we come to Jesus, he erases all our sins. His blood has today the same power as yesterday and forever. We must only turn to Him.

“…y le dijo: Eh, fulano, ven acá y siéntate el vino y se sentó”
Rut 4:1
Al mirar este pasaje de las Escrituras, contemplo a simple vista, que Booz no llama a esta persona por su nombre, sino que le dice: Eh, fulano… Dicho hombre, era el pariente más cercano de la familia de Noemí.
Booz consultó a este pariente si el desearía ser el redentor de una propiedad. La tierra debía ser redimida antes que las personas, es decir antes que Noemí y Rut. El pariente estaba dispuesto a hacerlo, cumpliendo así con la ley mosaica, pero al saber que tendría que redimir a Rut la moabita no quiso; ya que la ley lo prohibía y estaría desobedeciéndola. De esto deducimos, que esta persona representa a la “ley”.
Era necesario que alguien pueda redimir fuera de la ley, haciéndolo solamente por gracia. Esta función la cumplió perfectamente Booz.
Cuando Cristo murió, tomó nuestro lugar y pagó por nuestros pecados. Booz fue el libertador de Rut y simbólicamente representa a “Cristo”, hoy Nuestro Salvador. No hay duda que sólo Cristo puede redimir nuestras vidas del poder del pecado.
¿Has sido redimido mi amigo? Jesús ha hecho la provisión necesaria; ahora tú tienes que reclamarle como tu Redentor personal. ¡Hazlo hoy!

. . . unto whom he said, Ho such a one! Turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside and sat down.
Ruth 4:1
Looking at this passage of Scripture, I contemplate with a simple look, that Boaz doesn’t call this person by name but says to him, such a one. . . This man was a close relative of the family of Naomi.
Boaz consulted this relative if they would like to be the redeemer of a property. The land must be redeemed before the people, meaning before Naomi and Ruth. The relative was willing to do so, fulfilling this way with the mosaic law, but then knowing that he would have to redeem Ruth the Moabite, he did not want to; since the law prohibited it and he would be disobeying. Of this we deduce that this person represents the law.
It was necessary that someone could redeem outside the law, doing so only by grace. This function was perfectly completed in Boaz.
When Christ died, he took our place and paid for our sins, Boaz was the liberator of Ruth and symbolically represents Christ, today Our Savior. There is no doubt that only Christ can redeem our lives from the power of sin.
Have you been redeemed my friend? Jesus has made the necessary provision; no you have to reclaim him as your personal redeemer. Do it today!

El pertenecer a Dios no implica un simple conocimiento humano… Permítame decirle que el ser propiedad de Dios va acompañado de una paz total, que aún se puede palpar en todas nuestras pertenencias. En medio de la más terrible tormenta, hasta nuestros animales vivirán tranquilos.
Ahora bien, examinando mi interior, me pregunto: ¿A quién pertenezco?
Amados, es mi responsabilidad decirles que en estos tiempos, Dios hará diferencia entre los que son de él y los que no lo son…
Y una vez vuelvo a pensar no sólo en mí, sino en usted también: ¿Sabe a quién pertenece?
