Amaya compró Ongame de bwin.party digital entertainment el pasado mes de octubre para reforzar su cartera de productos. A la plataforma depoker Ongame se podrá acceder a través de la solución de juegos en líneanLive de Aristocrat, que ofrece a los operadores físicos salir como casinovirtual en línea.

La plataforma ya está disponible de forma gratuita para comenzar a jugar y en el mismo instante se puede cambiar a dinero real una vez que las medidas regulatorias hayan sido aprobadas.

Amaya Gaming lanzó sus resultados financieros del cuarto trimestre de 2012 el jueves. Los ingresos totales de la firma para el año mejoró en casi un 316 por ciento a $ 75.880.000. Sin embargo, Amaya registró una pérdida total en el año 2012 de $ 7050000.

Baazov dijo que el año pasado era un periodo de transición de Amaya, y en última instancia de sus recientes adquisiciones de negocio con Ongame y Cryptologic proporcionará un crecimiento importante para la empresa en los EE.UU. en el futuro.

Estados Unidos.- 28 de Junio del 2012 www.zonadeazar.com bwin.party ha emitido una nota de prensa, a la que accedemos vía eGR, en la que comunican que la venta de la red Ongame a la compañía estadounidense Shuffle Master se ha cancelado “de mutuo acuerdo”.

El pasado 6 de marzo se hacía público el acuerdo por el que Shuffle Master adquiriría la plataforma de juego Ongame por 19,5 millones de euros más 10 millones de euros adicionales si el mercado del poker online en Estados Unidos, el gran objetivo de la operación para Shuffle Master, se abría en los próximos cinco años.

Bet&Win, la anterior denominación de bwin, había adquirido la red Ongame en 2005 por 473 millones de euros. Ahora se cancela la operación por la que la empresa se desharía de uno de sus activos innecesarios ya que su principal plataforma de poker online en estos momentos es PartyGaming. bwin.party anuncia la reapertura de contactos con otras empresas que en su momento consideraron la compra de Ongame.

¿Podría ser este movimiento una señal de que la apertura del mercado USA no está tan próxima como podría parecer hace unos meses? ¿O bien simplemente se debe a un cambio de estrategia de desarrollo de producto de Shuffle Master.

Según la prensa británica, vía Goodbody, Shuffle Master, compañía cotiza en el índice Nasdaq de empresas tecnológicas, cerrará el acuerdo en unos 20 millones de dólares y se ha adelantado en las negociaciones a otras empresas norteamericanas con la vista puesta en la previsible futura apertura del mercado del poker online USA como Bally oWWS.

Ongame Network ha introducido un nuevo sistema de valoración de jugadores de cash games diseñado especialmente para animar a los socios de la red a enfocarse al reclutamiento de jugadores de poker casuales en lugar de profesionales, dando lugar a lo que la compañía espera que sea un ecosistema de poker más sano para todos los socios de la red.

El nuevo sistema de rake, conocida como Essence, está diseñado para recompensar a los operadores que atraen a jugadores ocasionales mediante la asignación de una porción mayor de rake para jugadores que contribuyen y una porción menor para jugadores que ganan, también conocidos como “sharks”.
