HOSTEL COLONIAL – BUENOS AIRES STREET ART – POST # 3.0

Buenos Aires, Hostel Colonial, Street Art, a constant relationship of admiration in this Buenos Aires blog. Personal or group expression. New Pop Art?
Color and ideology on the walls of Buenos Aires, about to be prohibited and penalized. Zero Tolerance? I bet it will come hundreds of new artists. Graffitis, tags, posters, stencils, signs…
I thought he had written and published enough photos in the 2 previous post, but no, the walls of Buenos Aires expressed a strong message and I want to listen with my creative eyes.
This post is visually very extensive. The other half of the images will be published tomorrow. Remind to schedule.

HOSTEL COLONIAL – BOMBING BUENOS AIRES

In Hostel Colonial love everything that happens in the streets of Buenos Aires. There is a strong and diverse cultural movement that repeatedly doesn´t pay attention, well, it isn´t our case. Artists like Roma are virtually unknown to the popular public.
Artists, graffiti, streets, Buenos Aires, Argentina, no more words, watch the video.

The people say:

“Graffitti is a way of expression that is often neglected in our society. Art is not as common in our culture as it should be, and therefore we tend to loose touch with both our values and who we are as a people”.

“I very much enjoyed watching this for several reasons first the use of colour both in the graffiti and in the video overall. I also like the fact that though hip hop is US culture with a global influence and audience. Roma shows how he has embraced it and used the cultural influences of his country and its architecture to create his own style.
