We believe that another world is possible. Buenos Aires is a Megalópolis, one of the issues that concern us most is the waste recycling, therefore this post we found it very interesting to read and spread.
In Buenos Aires, Argentina there are 25,000 scavengers with more than 14 cooperatives. Cooperativa El Ceibo, with 102 members, mostly women, collects recyclables that havebeen separated by participating residents. Read more..

We want to know the importance that has environment for the independent travellers and backpackers who visit Hostel Colonial.
The responsible tourism begins in each traveller and forces a conscience taking.
The results of the survey will be published on October 15 – 2007 Blog Action Day, next to a note on garbage recycling in Buenos Aires, a very important subject as much for the “Porteños” as for which they visit by tourism or business.
